BMW Welt (English – BMW World) is a multi-use exhibition center used for meetings and promotional events of BMW vehicles. BMW Welt operations are coordinated with the other local BMW facilities, the BMW Museum and BMW Headquarters. In 2001 an international architectural design competition was sponsored by BMW AG for the construction of the BMW World. Twenty-seven offices participated in the competition and the contract was awarded to the Vienna-based architects COOP HIMMELB(L)AU and the facility was constructed from August 2003 through summer 2007 at a cost of US$200 million.
BMW Museum is an automobile museum of BMW history and was established in 1973. Known as the salad bowl or white cauldron, the silver futuristic building was designed by the architect of the BMW Headquarters, the Viennese professor Karl Schwanzer.
BMW Headquarters (German: BMW-Vierzylinder "BMW four-cylinder"; also BMW Tower) was built between 1968 and 1972. The main tower consists of four vertical cylinders standing next to and across from each other. Each cylinder is divided horizontally in its center by a mold in the facade.

The European Central Bank or ECB is seated at the East end of Frankfurt. The premises include the former Wholesale Market Hall (Großmarkthalle), a new 185/165 m twin-tower skyscraper and a new low-rise building to connect the two. It was completed in 2014 and was officially opened on March 18, 2015.
The newly built main office building consists of two towers that are joined by an atrium with four interchange platforms. The North tower has 45 storeys and a roof height of 185 m (607 ft), whereas the South tower has 43 storeys and a roof height of 165 m (541 ft). With the antenna, the North tower reaches a height of 201 m (659 ft). The new ECB premises furthermore comprises the Grossmarkthalle, a former wholesale market hall built from 1926-1928 and fully renovated for its new purpose. In 1999, an international architectural competition was launched by the bank to design a new building. It was won by a Vienna-based architectural office called Coop Himmelb(l)au.

MyZeil is a shopping mall in the center of Frankfurt, Germany. It was designed by Roman architect Massimiliano Fuksas. It is part of the PalaisQuartier development, with its main entrance on the Zeil, Frankfurt's main shopping street. It was officially opened on 26 February 2009.
The Walt Disney Concert Hall at 111 South Grand Avenue in downtown of Los Angeles, California, is the fourth hall of the Los Angeles Music Center and was designed by Frank Gehry. It opened on October 24, 2003. Bounded by Hope Street,Grand Avenue, and 1st and 2nd Streets, it seats 2,265 people and serves, among other purposes, as the home of the Los Angeles Philharmonic orchestra and the Los Angeles Master Chorale. The hall is in a vineyard seating configuration, similar to the Berliner Philharmonie by Hans Scharoun.

Kranhaus ("crane house", plural Kranhäuser) refers to each one of the three 17-story buildings in the Rheinauhafen of Cologne. Their shape, an upside-down "L", is reminiscent of the harbor cranes that were used to load cargo off of and on to ships, two of which were left standing as monuments when the harbor was redesigned as a residential and commercial quarter in the early 2000s. Each building is approx. 62 meters in height, 70,20 meters long, and 33,75 meters wide. They were designed by Aachen architect Alfons Linster and Hamburg-based Hadi Teherani of BRT Architekten. Construction began on October 16, 2006, and the first building was completed in 2008.
The southern and middle buildings provide approx. 16000 sqm (172200 square feet) of office space each, on 15 levels. The northern one harbors 133 luxury apartments totalling approx. 15000 sqm on 18 levels.

Liège-Guillemins railway station is the main station of the city of Liège, the third largest city in Belgium. It is one of the most important hubs in the country and is one of the 3 Belgian stations on the high-speed rail network. The station is used by 15,000 people every day which makes it the eleventh busiest station in Belgium and the third in Wallonia.
The new station by the architect Santiago Calatrava was officially opened on 18 September 2009, with a show by Franco Dragone. It has 9 tracks and 5 platforms (three of 450 m and two of 350 m). All the tracks around the station have been modernized to allow high speed arrival and departure.
The new station is made of steel, glass and white concrete. It includes a monumental arch, 160 metres long and 32 metres high.
Congress Center Hamburg is a convention center in Hamburg, Germany, located right next to Planten un Blomen, near the Hamburg Dammtor station and Radisson Blu hotel. It opened on 14 April 1973 as the first of its kind in Germany. The center has a 12,500-seat capacity.
